We’re Hiring: Senior Social Media Manager

Responsible for: Leading on the planning and delivery of organic and paid social media strategies, and partnerships for LUX’s client base.

Job description:
LUX is looking for a Senior Social Media Manager with a strong track record of social media management to join our team.
From objective-setting to evaluation, the role is all-encompassing in setting social media strategies and managing roll-out, as well as managing social media campaigns and influencer partnerships.

Knowledge and experience required:

  • 3-5 years relevant industry experience including paid social media management, and community management
  • Experience with ‘nose to tail’ management of deadline-driven, integrated campaigns within an agency environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent client management skills, with an ability to build strong, long-lasting relationships
  • Proficient in the use of social media platforms, ad management platforms, social media monitoring platforms and native analytics
  • Strong understanding of paid social principles, best practices, and industry trends
  • Experience in analysing data and producing social media reports with data driven insights and recommendations
  • Experience in creating and delivering quality social content, across the likes of Meta, Pinterest, Tiktok, and YouTube


The day-to-day:

  • Work closely with the Account Managers to develop and execute effective social media strategies, aligned with client goals and objectives.
  • Manage all aspects of paid social media campaigns, including campaign set-up, monitoring, optimisation, reporting and evaluation
  • Management of influencer partnerships including suggesting appropriate partnerships, managing contracts and relationships while working with the wider Communications and Creative team to review content
  • Stay abreast of social media trends and proactively suggest and implement plans accordingly
  • Respond in real-time to new content and cultural moments, partnering with the Communications team to amplify press, VIP and influencer stories
  • Attend regular client meetings/calls and support the Senior Account Manager with day-to-day queries relating to paid social media management
  • Providing support for the Social Media Manager where required on community management across all channels, providing timely responses to comments and messages as well as scheduling and posting of all content across multiple platforms.
  • Supporting on cross-department knowledge sharing and success stories from within the team
  • Contributing to the upkeep of the LUX website and social media presence
  • Contributing to proposals and attending pitches
