








Robertson’s Fine Foods, Scotland’s largest producer of 100% Scottish pork products, has five generations of independent butchery heritage. They approached LUX with a specific brief: diversifying from their core heritage brand and expanding their portfolio by creating a retail-ready brand that would deliver bold standout and appeal to modern consumers. LUX created ‘The Ayrshire Butcher Co’., a vibrant, playful flavour-led brand designed to tempt a new target consumer. Taking inspiration from takeaway and ‘fakeaway’ favourites, we developed a bold packaging solution for their pork sausage range featuring eye-catching colours and a playful illustration style.
From brand identity, product naming and complete packaging design, we delivered maximum shelf standout. The brand quickly secured nationwide listings in Aldi stores, marking a successful launch for Robertson’s expanding grocery retail portfolio.
