We are pleased to announce that LUX are on the hunt for a driven individual to join our growing team.

We have an exciting new vacancy for a Creative Copywriter; someone with a real gift for bringing brands to life. We’re looking for a wordsmith with the talent to deliver engaging prose, and to tell great stories.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable writing for diverse mediums, however with a key focus on social media channels. A creative, trendspotting type, you’ll be experienced in generating ideas and concepts for content that tells a brand story and engages its audience, with the agility to change between different house styles.

If you’re the friend always waxing lyrical over the poached eggs at brunch, or the myriad merits of macarons, then this is the role for you. A passion for food & drink is essential and you’ll have the ability to learn the more technical side of things, for example writing tasting notes, recipe methods and pairings.

Role: Creative Copywriter

As Creative Copywriter, you will be passionate about bringing brands to life, telling stories, and creating content that educates and inspires people, builds engagement and affinity with our brands.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working on a range of client accounts within the food & drink arena as a member of the Content Team
  • Also able to work with the Brand Team to define and develop house styles
  • Writing flawless, creative and engaging content for social, web, print and advertisements
  • Helping to create and develop ideas for social media campaigns
  • New business; brainstorming ideas, contributing to strategy plans

You will need to demonstrate:

  • 2-3 years experience of creative copywriting, ideally agency-side within the area of food & drink
  • A love of all things social, a talent for writing captivating content
  • A proactive, motivated and team-player attitude – always happy to get stuck in and go the extra mile
  • Flawless writing and communication skills
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional content which are results-driven
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and work to strict deadlines
  • Ability to cope with pressure & a ‘can-do’ ambitious spirit
