We’re pleased to announce that we’re searching for a talented Brand Manager to join our growing team at LUX!

We’re looking for an individual who specialises in PR and has a proven track record of delivering exceptional, results-driven campaigns to join our team. A background in food and drink is not essential, but a hunger for working in a fun, fast-paced environment is a must.

The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for developing fantastic relationships with journalists, writing engaging content, securing impactful coverage for our clients, contributing to LUX corporate communications, all the while maintaining excellent relationships with our clients.

Role:  Brand Manager, specialising in PR

Salary: DOE

Office: Edinburgh

As Brand Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Working on a range of client accounts within the food and drink arena
  • Developing & maintaining great relationships with UK-wide and international media and securing excellent coverage
  • Writing flawless content for news releases, media packs and other supporting documents
  • Creating & managing brand partnerships that will see you act as an ambassador for our clients and their campaigns
  • Client management; developing and maintaining strong relationships and providing creative ideas and advice
  • Event management
  • Contributing to new business; brainstorming ideas, strategic plans and pitching

You will need to demonstrate:

  • 2-3 years experience of working in communications, ideally agency-side within food and drink
  • Be very well networked with Scottish media & ideally UK-wide media
  • A proactive, motivated and team-player attitude – always happy to get stuck in and go the extra mile
  • Flawless writing and communication skills
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional creative campaigns which are results driven
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Ability to cope with pressure & a ‘can-do’ ambitious spirit
